Hoppy
My name is Hoppy. My friends call me "Hoppy-Jalopy". I am a permanent resident here at Friends Of Hannah. They feed me and take care of me and occassionally I will let them pet me. You see, I was severely mistreated before I came here. I have scars on my back where I was burned. It is believed that someone did this intentionally. Originally, they thought that they could rehabilitate me, but there is a part of my mind that they can't reach. One minute I am happy, happy, happy, the next minute I am very angry. I can't help it and they forgive me for my indiscretions. I am approximately 6 years old.

Huckleberry
This is Huckleberry. He is an example of why we have "sanctuary" dogs. Severely mistreated as a puppy. Huckleberry has issues that still plague him. Overly shy and timid, he only trusts the people that he knows very well. Our good friend Shannon took him home as a foster dog and really tried to bring him out of his shell, however, months later he is still the same sad, yet beautiful fellow that we have always known. Huckleberry is truly happy here. He loves all of us and depends on us for his guidance and affection. This is Kenzie Cat. You won't find a sweeter, more loving kitty in all the world. After 8 years of devotion and affection to her family, they decided that they had to move and she could not go with them. She resides here for now, but she is keeping her options open.
