Huckleberry
This is Huckleberry. He is an example of why we have "sanctuary" dogs. Severely mistreated as a puppy. Huckleberry has issues that still plague him. Overly shy and timid, he only trusts the people that he knows very well. Our good friend Shannon took him home as a foster dog and really tried to bring him out of his shell, however, months later he is still the same sad, yet beautiful fellow that we have always known. Huckleberry is truly happy here. He loves all of us and depends on us for his guidance and affection. We all believe that he would be a dog like Buck in "A Call of The Wild" if only someone would pour some heart and soul into him. To help support Huckleberry, please click here:

Kenzie
This is Kenzie Cat. You won't find a sweeter, more loving kitty in all the world. After 8 years of devotion and affection to her family, they decided that they had to move and she could not go with them. She resides here for now, but she is keeping her options open. She would make a wonderful companion for any relatively quiet household with older, considerate children. If you would like to contribute to Kenzie Cat's continued retirement here, please click here:
